Junior Achievement

Since 1943, Junior Achievement has been dedicated to providing financial literacy programs to school-age children. The educational activities provided through Junior Achievement help complement what is taught in the classrooms, but implemented through the use of hands-on, real-world programs. First Bank is a proud sponsor of the real-world personal finance and business management programs provided to our youth at JA BizTown in the Greater St. Louis area.

First Bank, along with other sponsors, is able to provide these financial education programs offered through JA Biztown JA Finance Park, and JA Days at low, reasonable costs to school districts. We provided over 600 volunteer hours in 2017 serving on the Board, teaching financial literacy programs at the various JA locations, and assisted in securing funds for ongoing JA programs.

Honor Flight

First Bank is a proud sponsor of the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight (GSLHF) program. Since 2014, First Bank has partnered with the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight and the St. Louis Blues for “First Bank’s Tribute to the Greatest Generation.” GSLHF honors our veterans by providing an all-inclusive trip to Washington, DC to visit the memorials built to commemorate their service to our country. First Bank is honored to support such programs that support our nation’s veterans.

Habitat For Humanity OC, Orange County

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is dedicated to eliminating sub-standard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.

First Bank is a financial supporter and mortgage loan partner. We provided over 170 volunteer hours in 2017 serving on the Board, co-chaired the Leaders Build Day Committee, and assisted in securing funds for ongoing build projects.
